Julian is a thought leader, writer and speaker passionate about inspiring others. Often ahead of his time (which can be both a good thing or a bad thing), he’s been at the forefront of advertising, digital marketing, influencer marketing, cultural change and Challenger strategy for over thirty years

Julian’s company Ammo Marketing pioneered the art of harnessing the power of influencers -- well before Facebook and Instagram, and before many brands thought about leveraging cultural instigators to promote products and brands.  His work with Challenger brands has spanned a decade and has inspired workshops, seminars and keynotes about the impact of a Challenger Mindset

A member of the Climate Reality Leadership Corps, Julian shares his passion about climate change to shape public opinion, influence policy, and inspire communities to take action

We called our company Enact because we are passionate about not just helping companies develop a Challenger-based Lighthouse Identity, but also enacting that throughout the entire organization. Julian’s focus is on inspiring and reinforcing behaviors that deliver extraordinary results – and an enduring Challenger culture

Speaker Thesis

Most presentations are duds. Some presenters are great. Some content is compelling. But all too rare is that session where the two come together to inform, inspire and excite. And, unfortunately, that’s because all too few presenters focus on uncovering real insights (vs. restatement of facts) and on developing a unique, compelling point of view.

In every Key Note presentation I do, that’s my goal: to tell a compelling story about people, business and brands – one that has a story arc, one that taps into human emotion, but that also is laden with proof points and facts, one that inspires attendees to think and act differently. Perhaps, even, to become a Challenger themselves. But, don’t take my word for it. See what others have said. Or watch me on stage below. And then, feel free to invite me to your event.

Speaking Engagements

Conferences should be places to fuse ideas, become radically inspired and perfect your craft. As well as places to network and practice your drinking skills.

I specialize in designing and delivering high-impact Keynote presentations about Challenger Brands for audiences of all sizes, from 10 to 10,000. Presentations that entertain, inform and catalyze thinking and action. If you are looking for a speaker who reads from his notes, talks to bullet points on slides or recounts his life story, don’t hire me.

If you want your attendees laughing, crying, taking notes and tweeting about the conference content, then find out more here.
